Here, we have highlighted some of our most complex, unique, and awesome projects.
High-Precision Inspection
The massive cell to the right is for inspecting vehicle windshields. This required high-precision visioning, placement, and handling. Custom pallet transfers to feed the cell, End of Arm Tools, and conveyors were required to make this possible. Also involved were industrial blowers and air blades to remove separators without touching the glass.
Simple, but Effective
The simple conveyor system to the left was completed for a fairly reputable company (see product logo). We needed to merge products into one lane, but also needed close placement from the assembly stations. So by speeding up the merge, we satisfied both requirements. We do not supply Intralox yet, but we love designing it and this video attests to our ability.
Complex Systems
Wolfe-Tech handles many larger, custom system designs and builds. The lift and depalletizer to the right was just a small part of a large system we designed, managed, and built. The top of this lift, shown, was 15 feet off the floor to match up with the rest of the system. These boxes are filled with empty bottles which were lifted and dumped into 20 foot hopper conveyors. The boxes were then folded and palletized.
Structural Integrity
On top of the standard products we offer and the precision and complex systems we custom make, we also have a knack for structural designs. Shown here to the left are platforms we designed for servicing equipment and overseeing operations.
Unique Experience
Wolfe – Tech has provided solutions to many unique problems. TO the right is a pie sorter design we completed for a food & beverage producer. Raw pie crusts in tins come down a conveyor into the sorter. When each pie is sensed, an effector actuates down into the crust and holds it until all 8 stations are full. Once full, the sorter then actuates forward via rack and pinion into the oven.
Customer-centric Designs
At Wolfe – Tech, we often need to innovate solutions to meet our customer’s needs as everyone’s situation is different. Being able to give our customers exactly what they need for their specific requirements is very important and something we have done several times with great success. Left is a small, mobile pick lift. The customer needed something motorized to lift heavy weights at different pick locations, but they also wanted to make it more ergonomic. This eliminated the possibiltiy of mechanical/hydraulic lifts that require extensive movement by the operator. We designed and built battery-operated, rechargeable lifts that require only the push of a button to lift and let down.
